Tap Water, 100% Drinkable!

The water quality in Medellín is one of the best in the world...

Medellín’s tap water is safe to drink. However, some areas outside the city may experience occasional variations in quality. It’s always a good idea to boil water or use a filter if you have concerns.

Electric Power, as in US!

The standard electrical current in Colombia is 110 volts AC (60 Hz)...

The country primarily uses Type A and Type B electrical plugs and sockets for connections. Visitors from Europe should bring converters suitable for these connections.

Free WiFi Available!

Many restaurants and businesses offer free Wi-Fi access...

All shopping malls in the city provide free Wi-Fi. At some supermarkets, parks, public buildings and metro stations there is also internet service.

No Visa Needed! (in most cases...)

We'd love to have you here. Most tourists do not need a visa to arrive in Medellin...

Colombia is ranked 14th in the world with 18 public holidays.

Public holidays are regulated by the “Emiliani” Law, which establishes that ten of the 18 holidays are moved to the next Monday in the calendar if their date falls between Tuesday and Sunday. Here the complete list.
